Wine Cup Alta Badia, l’evento che unisce skisafari e degustazioni in quota
Dal 9 al 18 gennaio 2018 il nuovo anno si saluta brindando a 2.800 metri di altitudine
Solo per i veri intenditori. Il Wine Cup Alta Badia è l’evento enogastronomico che accoglie a calici levati il 2018 sulle alte vette dolomitiche di Corvara. Dal 9 al 18 gennaio le Dolomiti ladine faranno da scenario a escursioni guidate sulle piste da sci e a degustazioni in differenti livelli di quota, con calici dalle particolari caratteristiche, che rendono l’esperienza ancora più inebriante. Alla sera, piatti gourmet con attenti accostamenti a birre e vini di alto pregio allo Sporthotel Panorama.
Partecipare al Wine Cup Alta Badia significa amare in modo spassionato le vette innevate delle Dolomiti Patrimonio Unesco e soprattutto apprezzare l’atmosfera di complicità che si crea stappando bottiglie pregiate sotto la guida di esperti enofili. Il calendario è fitto appuntamenti: si comincia martedì 9 gennaio con la tappa di degustazione di birre artigianali provenienti da tutta Italia ai rifugi Piz Arlara (2040 m) e Boconara (1.700 m). Le birre presentate saranno la Forst di Merano, la Monpiër de Gherdëina (Val Gardena), la Köstlan di Bressanone, la lucchese Brùton, la novarese Tresca, la tedesca Schneider e una selezione di birre belghe.
È vero quindi che l’altitudine influisce su profumi e sapori di vini pluripremiati? Per scoprirlo sarà necessario partecipare alle escursioni sugli sci e alle degustazioni organizzate nelle diverse tappe. A 2.800 m di quota nel Rifugio Lagazuoi, a 2.040 m nel rifugio Piz Arlara e infine a 1.700 m nello Sporthotel Panorama si stapperanno il 10 gennaio 4 annate di Brunello di Montalcino Valdicava “Madonna del Piano”, presentate da Vincenzo Abbruzzese, titolare della cantina; mercoledì 17, invece, sarà la volta di 3 annate di Fiorano raccontate da Alessia Antinori, che gestisce a Roma la Fattoria di Fiorano, ereditata dal Principe di Venosa, Alberico Boncompagni Ludovisi.
Al Wine Cup Alta Badia anche il calice ha la sua importanza e può influenzare in particolare le percezioni olfattive del degustatore. Per verificare la veridicità di questa affermazione, giovedì 11 gennaio allo Sporthotel Panorama sarà la volta delle bollicine, con bottiglie provenienti da ogni parte del mondo selezionate dal sommelier Michael Costamoling. La conduzione del tasting verrà fatta dell’enotecnico Mirko Gandolfi. Protagonisti saranno appunto i calici, che daranno alla serata un tocco di classe. Il Denk’Art di Zalto ha curve angolate a 24°, 48° e 72°, misure che corrispondono agli angoli di inclinazione della Terra e realizzate affinché il vino degustato in questo tipo di calice, mostri una profondità e una luce completamente nuovi. Si caratterizza per l’incisione elicoidale interna il calice Aero di Luigi Bormioli, studiato per ridurre i tempi di aerazione del vino fino a 15 secondi, grazie all’incremento della turbolenza e quindi al maggior mescolamento vino-aria che provocano uno sviluppo eccelso di aromi e sapori. Infine, verrà testato anche il calice Riedel, cristallo austriaco di lunga storia (dal 1756) dal design strutturato in base alla “formula d’oro” che vuole un’architettura armonica e proporzionata con il fine di esaltare ogni tipo di vino. Dopo questo frizzante aperitivo, il menu della cena è a tema: vini biologici si confrontano con i vini classici provenienti da alcune delle cantine italiane più conosciute (Manincor, Valgiano, Zidarich, Lieselehof, Roberto Ferrari, Pacherhof).
L’evento Wine Cup Alta Badia è organizzato e promosso da Michael Costamoling, titolare del Sporthotel Panorama, grande appassionato di sci e di vini. In collaborazione con l’esperto Mirko Gandolfi, ha voluto creare un momento di convivialità che unisse il piacere della montagna a quella del buon bere e mangiare. For the real well-being was created a spacious and vast bath-resort with indoor swimming-pool and Jacuzzi. Enjoy the Finnish sauna, steambath, crystal bath and Tyrolean sauna, free of charge, all within an extra area and with a dreamy view through Corvara and the surrounding Dolomites. The sauna-area consists further of a “Kneipp” bath, a comfortable relaxing room and a room with solarium. Additional an old hay-shed was constructed in a wellnes-shelder and is used now as massage-room, with multifunctional tube, in wich one can have different baths, for example a hay-bath or an alpine-milk-bath. For easing in the sun there is a panorama terrace with direct entrance to the swimming-pool and to the sauna-area.
